| | Abby Rubinstein is an expressionist painter who began her career at the age of 15. As a New York native, she was able to train at the Brooklyn Museum of Art and under professional artists including Rufino, Tomayo, and Joseph Presser. Her paintings have been sold around the world, and she and her late husband Jules Rubinstein were chosen to represent the city of Guadalajara with a joint exhibition for the 1968 Olympics. After living in Mexico for 10 years, and then in Israel, Abby settled in Visalia. Abby paints regularly in her home studio and will be featured at Arts Visalia in May.
